Course Description
Workplace conflict occurs when there’s a disagreement among employees due to opposing interests, personalities, purposes, beliefs or ideas. Conflict in the workplace is inevitable. But it’s our perception of conflict that will colour our experience.
The videos and activities in this webinar will highlight productive ways to address conflicts you may encounter in the workplace. You will gain understanding of how to become better at resolving disputes by:
- Identifying the dynamics that escalate conflict
- Becoming aware of personal biases and assumptions that influence conflict
- Practicing communication skills that shift defensiveness and blame to assertiveness, understanding and collaboration
