    This article examines the racial diversity of the teacher population in Canada. The authors’ compare the number of teachers of colour in Canadian elementary and secondary schools from the 2001 and 2006 Census data with the diversity of the student and general populations.   • Developing Classroom Websites for 21st Century Learning

    Classroom websites can support and enhance student learning by targeting 21st century skills, such as collaboration, media literacy, critical thinking, problem solving, and self-directional skills. For example, website components such as collaborative projects can improve interpersonal skills which are critical for the 21st century student.  By making learning a social event, teachers can keep students engaged with course material.
