BCPSEA has developed a series of professional development programs to deliver innovative, accessible, high-quality learning opportunities to meet districts’ needs in the dynamic area of human resources/labour relations. In addition to these formal learning opportunities, BCPSEA hosts conferences and other events where school district representatives can learn and connect with their colleagues.
Annual General Meeting and Representative Council
In accordance with the BCPSEA Constitution and Bylaws, the BCPSEA Annual General Meeting is held once a year. In addition to the AGM, a Representative Council is held once a year to approve the annual budget of the Association. During years when collective bargaining is scheduled, a Representative Council is held to discuss bargaining objectives.
Symposium
The BCPSEA Symposium is an annual professional development event intended for school district Human Resources and Labour Relations professionals. The Symposium features expert speakers, interactive breakout sessions, valuable networking opportunities, and offers practical insights and tools to support your work in the education sector.
