
EDAS
The Employment Data and Analysis System (EDAS) collects human resource information about employees working in public education. This is a joint initiative between BC Public School Employers’ Association (BCPSEA) and the Ministry of Education to improve the accessibility and the quality of employment data.
Who uses EDAS?
EDAS streamlines existing Ministry data collection forms, reduces duplication of requests, and automates the data extraction and transfer process. The information is used by school districts, BCPSEA and the Ministry of Education for collective bargaining and various policy initiatives.

- Non Unionized Educators (Principals, Vice-Principals, Superintendents, etc.,) Non-Unionized Educator (EN) Headcount and FTE by Age Increments
- (Other) Exempt Staff (Secretary Treasurer, Director of Human Resources, Executive Assistant, etc.,) Exempt Staff (EX) Headcount and FTE by Age Increments
