The BCPSEA Constitution and Bylaws specify two types of governance events:
Annual General Meeting
BCPSEA holds its Annual General Meeting in January of each year. Activities at the AGM include reports from the Board and CEO, debate of resolutions submitted by member boards, report of the audited financial statements, presentation of the association budget for the prospective fiscal year, and information sessions on current and emergent issues.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the British Columbia Public School Employers' Association is typically held in January of each calendar year.

AGM Second Notice: Call for Proposed Resolutions and Nominations for Election to the Board of Directors
AGM Third Notice: Proposed Resolutions, Candidates for Trustee Directors, Proposed Budget
During years when collective bargaining is scheduled with the BC Teachers’ Federation, a Representative Council is held to discuss bargaining objectives. The Representative Council also approves the annual budget of the association.
